Don't call it a comeback
Hey there friends. So remember when I used to be a singer-songwriter and play shows? I'd shamelessly promote myself, you'd show your awesome support, and all would be right in the world? Yeah, those were good times. Well, I'm excited to announce that those days of shameless self-promotion and fabulously first-rate support from you (hint hint) are back! Do tell, you say? Ok.
I spent the last year working with a great organization called Causecast (check them out) and got involved with a bunch of different causes and nonprofits like Invisible Children and TOMS along the way. It was a huge learning experience, but the downside was that my music career went into a major holding pattern. Weeks turned into months, months turned into a year, and it really made me realize that there's nothing else I'd rather be doing than music. So I left Causecast on good terms to get back to living the dream, and now here we are. So I'm sorry for being gone, and now it's time for me to make up for lost time. What say I get back to writing songs again, and you keep on being awesome (while, you know, still coming to shows and not marking my emails as spam and stuff). Cool? Cool.
